1. Antithesis :

Q5. (B) Explain the Figures of Speech in the following lines.

1. Rest in the bottom lay – PUN because : the word rest has two meanings, i.e. the remaining one and to relax.

2. Bestow this jewel also on my creature – METAPHOR because : the gift of rest is compared to be jewel.

3. And rest in nature, not the God of Nature – REPETITION because the word nature is repeated in the same sentence for emphasis.
